About the role: In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex digital collaboration infrastructures and strategic business processes. You will work within a modern, full-stack Microsoft 365 environment, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external senior consultants to deliver impactful SharePoint Online, custom SPFx components, and Power Platform solutions.
As a SharePoint Developer, you will own the development lifecycle from architecture design to deployment and user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- SharePoint Development: Design, build, and maintain modern SharePoint Online sites, custom components, and extensions utilizing SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript, and PnP JS.
- Architecture & Governance: Establish and enforce secure, scalable site architectures, document management structures, and taxonomy while continuously improving information management and compliance processes.
- Business Collaboration: Partner with international hubs and internal business stakeholders to translate operational needs into seamless, intuitive intranet portals, document management workflows, and custom collaborative solutions.
- Integration & Automation: Support business automation by deeply integrating SharePoint with Microsoft Viva, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Teams to create unified digital workplace experiences.
- Innovation & Support: Provide tier-3 support for complex environment issues, optimize existing legacy setups, and introduce cutting-edge features to keep the organization ahead of modern workplace trends.
About you: To fulfil this role we are looking for a candidate who meets as much as possible:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint Online development and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Tech Stack: Proficient with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, React, SPFx, Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate), and PowerShell scripting (PnP PowerShell).
- The Extra Edge: Strong knowledge of Azure Integration Services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps), Graph API, or experience migrating legacy on-premise environments (SharePoint Server) to the cloud is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: You are highly analytical, curious, and a strong communicator. You enjoy collaborating with international teams, take proactive ownership of your development lifecycle, and advocate for modern, user-friendly collaboration standards.
- Language: Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal); proficiency in Dutch is a big plus.
